Born in California, and raised in Louisiana, Ed Stewart grew up surrounded by a family with a solid musical foundation. During his teen years, his talent was undeniable, and it was during this period that he began spinning records on his father’s turntables. Now known as DJ E-Clazz, he has a deep rooted appreciation for all genres of music. He is a show stopping performer on stage, as he infuses his charisma for his craft, with his keen business sense. As a result his credits include working for A-List talent in the music industry such as, Mayor of Atlanta Kasim Reed, Best Selling Author Robert Greene, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kevin Hart, Ludacris, Kanye West, R. Kelly, Toni Braxton, Ne-Yo, Gladys Knight, Shaquile O’Neal & Michael Jordan.
In addition, he performed during shows that drew in more than 10,000 fans worldwide, like the Isley Brother’s Concert, The Essence Music Festival, BET Hip Hop Awards, Soul Train Awards, the Michael Vick Celebrity Weekend, and for the premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta showing with Peter Thomas and Cynthia Bailey. He is currently the official DJ for all of the events for Atlanta’s mayor, Kasim Reed. Along with all of those impressive accolades, DJ E-Clazz has been called on by high end and popular department stores such as Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Macy’s.
